    Carlo and Marinella, starting from scratch, build a new, smaller La Zucca where Carlo’s parents old “Chalet La Zucca” once stood

    La Zucca becomes well known for its dessert trolley and starter assortment. The latter is a selection of 10 to 12 hot and cold starters that turns La Zucca into a destination restaurant

    The cheese trolley

    The cheese trolley is born almost playfully, to always showcase local cheeses. It catches on and becomes one of the restaurant’s main features

    Restyling

    Restyling

    Furniture and walls get a makeover and the old bar counter in the hall is replaced by our beloved oval table. The overall look turns from classical country to elegant while keeping warm colors and a welcoming family feel

    Francesca joins us

    Francesca joins us

    After finishing her studies in art and multimedia communication, Francesca joins the restaurant staff

    After finishing her studies in tourism economy and graduating as a professional sommelier, Alessandra joins La Zucca.
